Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tsp chili powder
- 3 tsp onion powder
- 4 tsp garlic powder
- 3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
- 1/4 cup lard
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Combine the seasonings in a large plastic baggie
- Wash and pat dry chicken breasts and cut into 1” cubes.
- Add the chicken pieces to the baggie with the seasonings. Shake to coat.
- In large sauté pan melt lard add chicken and spices
- Cook over medium heat for about 7 to 8 minutes stirring occasionally
- Pour the cream into the skillet and lower the heat.
- Simmer for several minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens then add butter.
- Serve over pasta or steamed white rice.
